4WD isn't working, light isn't coming on 94'?

My 94' LTD. X when I press the 4x4 hi or low button on the dash does nothing. It doesn't light up or anything. Any ideas? Thanks.

Got it. Shift motor cleaning helped to find out exactly what I needed. I didn't know the name of the part. I just joined the forum so searching with knowing what the part was called wasn't too easy.
