4wd light blinking (i searched, dont worry)

so my 4wd and 4wd low lights started blinking at me today. 6 times in a row every minute or so. the thing is, it happened while i was in 2wd. all the searches i found had it happen in 4. do you think its still the shift motor even though i havent used 4wd?

im clearing the codes as we speak, hopefully it was just a freak thing. I have one more question. the truck still drives normally, and i can't bring it in for repairs until next week. My gf's prom is on saturday and we're taking the X. do you think it will leave me stranded?
