Hi,
Ive searched through the forums and cant find my particular problem.
4wd Auto works fine on my 96 explorer XLT, but it wont go into low. I have a ELM module and FORSCAN and when i put all the inputs in it seems like the kicker is the GEM unit doesnt read the BOO (Brake On/Off) input.
The brake lights work and the RAP module recognizes it, but when i go into PCM and read the BKS (Brakes) module it doesnt say on off when the brakes are pressed.
Could it be a wiring issue? Or is my GEM no good? I replaced the GEM a while back and everything else (wipers windows locks etc) work just fine. My 4wd LOW is the last thing needed for this old girl to be back to 100% after being totaled and rebuilt.
