4wd low not working

I just noticed that when i switch to 4wd low the light does not come on in the dash and the low range 4wd does not work. The 4wd high does lite up when slected and does work. Could it be a faulty switch? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Same problem with my 00 4.0 sohc.

4 low has to be engaged with the truck in neutral

4 low has to be engaged with the truck in neutral

and stopped. Getting back out of 4 Lo is the same.
