4wd problem

[92 Explorer]

i have a 92 ford explorer that when i try and go into 4wd it wont, it wont even try, i was wondering if any one knows what the heck todo

Might be in one of the other forums, but I know there is a sticky or two for basic troubleshooting of 4wd problems. In addition, put "shift motor" and "auto hub" into the sites search engine, as those are the two most common causes (and they are quite common, so they've been discussed many times before).
