4wd system malfunction

I am currently unable to engage my pushbutton 4wd on my 93 XLT. It sounds like the relay is attempting to energize at the module that is installed above the left rear wheelwell, then you can hear it click off. Any troubleshooting tips will be appreciated, and any info on where I can get a replacement module (other than the Ford dealer) will be appreciated.

The "actuator" motor (I forget what it's called) on the transfer case may need cleaning..
