No. 4x4 illuminates on the dash when you manually lock the differential.

Adrenalin do this, non-Adrenalin 4WD sport tracs are always in 4X4 auto (without any dash light indicating such)

Obvious exception would be when you select 4WD High or 4WD low, either of which turn on an indicator light.
