4x4 High Light Flashing

Starting the truck up and headed out, as it was snowing pretty well and slick on the roads I put the truck into 4x4 high to help navigate out of my neighborhood. Once I powered my way onto the main road i put it back into auto, after several min it began the 4x4 high light flashing this continued for my whole drive in 2-5 min delays, i tired going back into and out of 4 high but it continued the flashing. I got to my destination turned the truck off and started it back up with no problems. I just returned from a serious drifting adventure and the 4 wheel drive worked fine. Any ideas why it would just have a little mishap in the system like that.

dude i have that problem and from a bunch of stuff ive seen online its common for the 4x4 module to F up i have a 2002 xlt and this problem just started last year but when i unplug the connector from the module and reconnect it the damn thing starts to work again for as long as the truck is on. Crazy exploder
