4x4 Intermitently works

4x4 Intermitently works but i need it now 6 inches of snow

shift motors good to start off

Well some days its will pop in 4x4 no questions asked just the little clicing sound from the thing in the back, then some times no clicking and no 4x4 i think its that computer thing not sure, i have had it click once no 4x4 then 10 secs later it whould click again still no 4x4. just got the hubs tooken care of and now this. and were expecting 5 inchs of snow never tried driving it in 2x4 in snow hows it do becase i will prob have to drive in 2x4 for now.

did you install manual hubs ?
sounds like shift motor to me , I've been thru this w/my ranger , put in another shift motor , and all is well ....
I recently broke a manual hub ,mile marker ... my warranty was up in October , but they still warranteed them ,I was 2 months over , and so I will never have anything bad to say about them , I like the add on the package also , " Abused world wide "
