My 4x4 high and low lights cam on at 40,000 miles. They quickly faded off after about 300 miles but left a humming sound behind. The lights retured now at 103,000 miles in my 99 and are here to stay. The humming is still there but it only humms when the gas is pressed. I guess its the pressure in parts. I think it may be the tranny but im not sure. The tranny will sometimes not go to reverse unless i go to drive first. Or if i give it gas while in reverse it kicks in hard. That only happend one time. The reverse problem is not all the time, in fact it is rare. My lights are still on and blink 6 times every 1 1/2 mins. how bad is it docs?
