4x4 low not engaging

i just replaced my shift motor and i now get the 4-hi lights and it shifts and everything but when i hit the 4-low button (in 4wd and neutral i dont get anything...no lights..no click from the back (the shift computer thingy) and no shifting of the t-case motor? what could be my issue here?

On my 89 B2 I have to first engage regular 4x4 then hold the 4low button in mfor 30 seconds and relay will click few times and then the 4low light comes on.

lol yea its on the list to do hahaha but i havent ran across any good ones yet and fit my budget with it!but then again my buddy just crawls under with vise grips to shift his tcase lol but im not going that route!!

Are you following the proper procedure for shifting into four low? Four high is just a touch of the button but four low requires a different step!

yes. It is already in 4hi, and im trying completely stopped with the trans in neutral.Im wondering if my neutral saftey switch isnt acting up because i've had other issues with back up lights and such also.
