4x4 low problems

Hi guy i just found your posting site and it greats, about last week the four low stopped working on my 1996 ranger xlt. The four high and 2 wheel still workes and switches freely. My question is, dose anyone know what my problem is and dose anyone know which colored wire dose what to the shift motor so i can check if power is getting to the shift motor to tell it to go to four low. Any advice is greatly appreactied. Thanks in advance for any information.

Hello Eli,

Please use the Search function of the board as the wire color and shift motor diagnostics (as well as rebuilding ) have been covered a few times.
