4x4 not working!!!

I just got my 94 ford explorer xlt, and when i hit the 4x4 button i hear the transfer case click into gear but the front wheels won't turn. It seems like the front diff wont engage. I tried going in reverse to see it it would engange but that didn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you got the auto hubs, it sounds like they are blown. The same thing happened to me, so I had them replaced with manual ones. Not only are they cheaper, but they are more reliable too. You should run a search for blown hubs or something because there are pleanty of threads on this topic. Hope this helps.
