4x4 problems

I have a 2000 Eddie Bauer explorer with 31 10.50s shackles and tortion twist was out mudding got stuck and only my back right tire would spin while in 4 low. Why wouldn't my front tires kick in or differential in back? Any ideas wats causing this thanks

Make sure your t case is engaging.

Also your rear is probably an open diff.

What's the open differential

In a nut shell, it means that both of your rear tires will not spin. Only the one with the least amount of traction.

I can put my explorer in 4x4 low and spin the tires and only the back tire will spin shouldn't one of the front ones spin to

Well you could make sure the front drive shaft is in..prolly is or I guess it would creep in park.
Just for giggles try putting it in 4 low with the motor and key off then start it.
My 95 is messed up but i can get it in 4 hi or low by doing that.

I tryed a test I found on this forum and the problem is in the transfer case of an electrical problem any suggestions
