Ok all, got a new one.. maybe its normal. Just want to find out.
After I got the hub situation straigtened out, things seem to be going fine.
Only one little bug up the ass.. could be me still getting accustomed to sounds/feel of 4wd...
Here it is.. when I was driving on very slippery roads tonight, whenever in 4wd, I'd accellerate and feel a little bit of a slip in the front end, then it'd catch and the truck would pull straight and hard on the road. Is this just me? I THINK its just the front tires slipping a bit then finally grabbing after the truck starts to move.
For reference it happens EVERY time I start to move on the snow with 4x4 on. Every stoplight, every maneuver.. if I start from a totally stopped position, I feel that slip. No banging, no clanking, no metally (metally?) sounds.. just a gentle slip then a strong feeling like its "locking" on to the road, then nothing but go go...
So what to you all think.. Anyone have this feeling and know its a problem, or should I just shut up and drive. ?
TIA for the advice
