4x4 still doesn't work

howdy, I posted on here couple of weeks ago and got alot of help but still no 4x4. my hubs were full of grease but not broken, cleaned them up and they are free to move now and my shift motor rotates and I can move the transfer case freely with a wrench. My driveline will lock up with about 2 turns with my hand, but still no 4x4. It is a 91 auto with auto hubs. The light comes on on the dash for 4 hi but not for 4 lo, thanks, steve

so the 4hi light comes on and it works, but 4low desnt work? in order to switch to 4lo, you need to be in neutral with your foot on the brake before u press the button. then shift into drive and go. should work now

i can now get the 4 lo light to come on, but the 4 wheel drive isn't working. does anyone know if the flat spline washer goes to the wheel bearing side of the c clip or to the hub side? i had some work done on the front end a while back and one is hub is one way, one the other...

Bearing side if I'm reading you right. Clip holds it all on.
