4X4 Switch

I just purchased a 1992 Explorer Sport and the 4X4 switch is not engaging the hubs. The amber lights are not even coming on for the 4x4 or Low Range. It seems to be an electrical problem with the switch not getting any juice. The truck had been sitting for 4 months. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the site Shawn. You'll find lots of good info here. Your 4x4 problem is very common on first generation explorers (91-94). Check out Brain's Shift Motor thread for a detailed explaination on how to repair it.
