My 2004 Ford Explorer Sport trac is locked in low 4X4 and turning the switch on the dash does not disengage it I have searched the forums and I have located the Shift control module (possible culprit) but as of yet, I cannot find the transfer case motor (another possible culprit) Can anyone tell me exactly where to find this transfer care motor and a picture would be great. I was crawling around yesterday to no avail. Also. I checked my fuses under the hood. Is there any other fuse box inside the cab and if there is - where is it located. Please be as concise as you can and thank you in advance for your assistance.

There's another fuse panel inside the drivers door on the side of the dash. It's in the owners manual what each fuse is for.

You would see the left side of this on the t-case

Here's some google images of the t-case and you can see the motor under the wires.
