Just wondering if anyone has taken a 5.0 AWD on some trails in Colorado? I've rented a Jeep on the Alpine Loop about 3 yrs ago but just recently purchased this Explorer. Can one "feather" the throttle in low to compensate for no low range? How capable are they? I purchased the 5.0 as I'm planning on pulling my pop up camper to Colorado every summer and I knew the extra power would be welcome. I was pulling with a 94 Vic and the Explorer feels a little more stable pulling the camper so far.
