5.0 Idle Question

I was sitting in my truck at the train station waiting for a train and I was noticing the idle was going up and down. Not rough, it would just fluctuate as it was warming up (it was not at full operating temp yet). I recall my friends old Mustang 5.0 used to do the same thing as well as many other 5.0 liter Mustangs I saw.

Is this normal for the 5 liter engine? I'm not sure if there is anything wrong or if this is just a 5.0 thing.

Mine does the same thing, but only when it has not warmed up.

Same with mine. I just figured it was a quirk of my individual truck. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong though.

So I guess it's one of those 5.0 things huh?

Must be, mine only has 40k on it and is in great condition.
