5.0 Motor Swap

hi yall,
im looking for a 2nd gen AWD explorer that i can swap my 98 5.0 engine into. what were the changes through out the 2nd gen 5.0? any specific years i should look for to make it easier to swap?

to make it easier, try and find the same year. the differences IIRC are, 96- 97 1/2 had internal EGR system, and because of that, the manifold on the passengers side has no opening for a EGR. also, they had the non "p" gt40 heads. 96-97 no pats, a return style fuel system and some wiring differences (not sure on what how ever). 97 1/2 had a external EGR, P heads, and different manifolds because of the P heads. 98 had pats, but all was the same as a 97 1/2. 99 and up had a little different wiring (once again, not sure what it was) and a returnless fuel system.
thats all i can think of at the moment.
