5.0 swap into my 95 xlt

OK Ive searched and searched, and cant find a deffinante answer as to this swap as it pertains to me. I have a 95 4 door xlt control track 4wd. I wanna do the swap to 5.0. Im not new to swaps, Ive done auto to manual swaps in honda accords, Civic motor swaps, etc. That was years ago but im not afraid to get my hands dirty. The current plan is to get a whole x from the local scrap yard. Rebuild it and drop in my rig. Now I know it drops right it, but here are my questions.

The donor X will be a 96 AWD

What do I need for wiring?
Do I need any suspension, driveshafts, etc?
Do I need to change out the front or rear axles?

Anything else I may have left out will be helpful I see eric was gonna be doing a big writeup but been to busy to finish.

The front differential will need to come over from the 96, the 95 has a vacuum disconnect that will not clear the 302's oil pan. You'll want to pull the entire harness/computer, both driveshafts, and obviously the transmission/transfer case.

Do I need to mess with my Gem or anything?

I know this is old. I swapped the entire body/engine harness from a 96 in to my 95. I used the 96 frame and used the 95 body.
