yes you can, and no, no one here has done it. basically, it will not show much gains in hp. you already have a sort of Cobra/GT-40 hybrid intake that alot of mustang guys look for as a low-budget power adder. if your not gonna run a big cam, nitrous, or a blower, you're really better off with the stocker.
to do it, you will have to do some adaptation on the throttle body. i really dont know if the stock intake elbow (right behind the throttle body) will bolt on or not. you may have to ditch the egr and the elbow, and make new/modified intake tubing.
