5.0l runs rough

i have a 2000 5.0l explorer and need some help. it runs good then rough when driving it it feels like it is either missing or running out of fuel the only code that keeps coming up is for a misfire on #8...i have replaced the fuel filter.spark plugs.plug wires.coils.crank position senser and still get the misfire code.engine vacume is good holds steady at 17 or 18. fuel presure was checked and it was 65...what should i do next.

You could have base engine concern like sticky valves, low compression, vacuum leak. Is it a dead miss or only miss under load. Double ck the plug wire and make sure you have spark at #8. Also you might want to ck compression.

Thanks 4 the help...but the motor runs rough at idle and while driving and some days it runs fine and others it runs rough...was told 2 check the evap system or the fuel presure damper...its my daily driver so i need 2 get it fixed
