Ever since I fixed my "loose" passenger side front seat, my airbag light has been on.

Well, it would only come on shortly after someone sat in that seat. About a month after that, it just stayed on period. (I double checked all wiring, can't figure out why it's on)

Today when driving home from work, when we got in and started it, it started doing the 5 beeps 5 times thing which is usually the airbag light bulb being out. Mines on...

It's not flashing like someone had mentioned theirs was flashing a code at them while beeping. Mines just solid on.

Any ideas?

Pull the code and find out what it is. Also, it is possible that when you fixed the seat you accidently trapped/pinched a wire under the carpet near the door lip or an airbag wire in the side on the seat. I know you said that you have checked some of the wires but that is all that I can come up with for it to start after the seat was worked on.

It never crossed my mind about pinching a wire under the carpet or something, that's a good thought.

How do you pull airbag codes? Can Autozone pull them or do I need a special scan done at the dealership or something?

The codes are B and C type/labeled codes and the actron scanners that AutoZone uses should be able to see them.
