This is gonna sound stupid especially coming from me...but take it easy...

Is there a spacer that goes on the crank between the flywheel or just flywheel bolts right to it? ?

I know on a auto there is one but for the life of me i cant remember for the 5 speed..i bent the hell outa the metal shield when removing it last time but pretty certain i got it flat..im getting a rubbing metal sound and wondering if its just the metal shield thingy or if i forgot to add a spacer...it seemed pretty close, closer than i remember. .bad news tho its coming back out..the slave is bad!!!

Or maybe the slave isnt working because i forgot the spacer..??? Idk ..

On my auto, the flex plate bolts right to the crank. At least that's how it did when I had it out. The previous owner might have left a spacer out. Or are you talking about the spacer between the bellhousing and engine block?

You may find your answer anyway when you take it apart again, just look for witness marks.

Yea im pretty sure only autos have a spacer..ill know tomorrow

No spacer with the flywheel

It does have a spacer. They all come with spacers the automatics and 5 spds

You got a picture because 5 speeds dont have spacers like the autos..they do or can have shims but nothing like the spacer a auto uses..

Also just a fyi..my slave was bad and the metal shield was rubbing on the flywheel..bent the shield back and replaced the slave..all is good now
