I know this has been asked before, but I was given a 2006 5R55 with transfer case that came out of 4 liter SOHC last night for well free almost and it only has 38,000km on it. So the question, can I make this work in my 94 Explorer? I have access to a machine shop for doing up the drive shafts and any custom brackets that may be needed. But will it actually bolt up and what is required for a controller for the tranny? It seems like it would be a sweet upgrade give how good of a truck I have.
