94 Explorer with a stalling problem.

HI All .. I am new to this site and was having a bit of trouble with our 94 Explorer XLT .. Once in a while it will stall at a stop sign and not start for a few minutes .. This happens about twice a month.. Also the check engine light comes on while traveling at speeds above 30 mph and goes back out again in a minute or less... However the check engine light did not come on before the engine stalled or after it started back up again..
Any help sure would be appreciated.. Thank you for any response,, Marconi...... P.S. I have change the fuel pump and the fuel filter..

It could be an EGR valve. You may want to have someone check the computer to see if there's a code on it.That would tell you what's acting up.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 91-94 section. Take Tony's advice, and find out what the code numbers are before you replace parts.
