Awesome website guys, I need some help, 1997 ford ranger 4.0 4x4 auto,Tranny will go into park, reverse is like neutral, shift into drive and it feels like second, can go about 20 mph, but if I shift into second, its like it does not shift but can then reach somewhere in the neighborhood of 40, its almost like something in the torque converter changes after manual shift, does this sound like solenoid issues, could something be wrong with my transfer case, a few people have told me to check the shift fork, anyway any help would be a blessing, need to get this truck going soon.
