i have 99 ford explorer4x4 with 4.0 and 5r55e transmission.ii have replaced transmission due to no rverse in old one now i have a leak in between the bell housing and case i was un sure of the location of leak so i pulled transmission relaced the front seal and o ring on the bolts for the bell housing to case.i reinstalled transmission and ive still got the leak i did check the gasket whrn bell housing was off and seen no damage to gasket or surface of case and bell housing.
