After having my codes read and dealing with the "TCC Solenoid Malfunction" for a few months, I got the necessary parts and changed out the Solenoid this weekend. However the problem persists.
And now after I changed the solenoid i am sometimes getting a delayed shift from 3-4. The revs rise just a little and hesitate before shifting.
Other than these two issues the tranny seems fine
There was not a significant amount of sludge in the pan and everything else looked in good shape.
Now after a search here I understand I should have also tightened the valve body bolts, changed the valve body gaskets and looked for a cracked solenoid bracket.
I don't mind going back under the car but I need to know what to look for and if indeed this would help. What involves tightening the valve body bolts, or changing the gasket? What am I looking for under there?
Should I just have a shop/dealer check it out?
Thanks
