5R55E VB Superior Shift Kit

I am ready to order all the parts needed for the VB rebuild and I was wondering the importance of the Superior Kit. Has anyone had experience in both, using the Ford Mod and the Superior Kit, and just using the Ford Mod. I have read through the VB Diary about 10 times now and would like to keep this job as simple and cheap as possible. If the Superior Kit is a must than I will do it, but just looking for a few more opinions.

What symptoms are you having or codes set that point you to these kits?
The Ford modification kit was to correct an EPC overpressure that the original system could not control properly. I used the kit in tandem with the bonded gasket seperator plate to solve a no 2nd gear problem. At that point I did not install the superior kit. Having said that I recommend you install the viton d-ring seals in the low/reverse servo as a precaution plus a new cover gasket while you have the VB off.
