Pitch the lucas in a fire!
The oil will do just fine, I think it is Conoco phillips who makes that oil. I would use it if I could get it up here for a decent price.

Union 76 used to be Gulf oil, Tuckman is correct, they were bought out/absorbed by Conoco/Philips.

has anyone tried beak i mean peak oil?

Guys on BITOG have used it with good results, it has to meet SM standards so its a decent oil. I would just keep the drain intervals around 3k to 4k, your engine will never know the difference.

i have to try it. i think im gonna skip on the lucas for now. i have 3qts of 76 synthetic oil need to get 2 more so i dont think useing a diffrent brand synthetic blend will hurt.

You can use any type of oil you please (dino, blend or syn) with no ill effects, many guys on BITOG blend different types and weights of oils.
