78 F150 SAS Will it work?

Hey all,
I'm currently considering a SAS for my explorer and I might have a chance at picking up a complete 78 f150 with a 4" lift on it of $200. If I am wanting to do the bolt on conversion. What all should I look at when I go look at the truck and since it might have 4" lift springs, will these work in place of the
5.5" mentioned in the thread?

The 5.5" springs usually mentioned are for an early bronco. The coil size is the same and will work for your application. I'm not sure exactly how the f150 4" lift coils compare to the bronco 5.5" lift coils. Any difference in height can be offset by where you weld the buckets.
