Hi Guys!
Question from a JEEP guy, I just installed an 8.8 (from a 97 Explorer) in my TJ.
Question....
What is the proper amount and weight of fluid required?
I had to tilt my pinion up to about 20 deg. for proper driveline angles....I put in 5, yes FIVE quarts of gear oil to get to the fill hole, I know this can't be right, I think I am filling up the axle tubes because of the fill hole being too high.
Thanks for the help.
