'87 Ranger FM145 Bleeding slave?

What is the best way to bleed th slave on the clutch. I have heard pump away til your leg is about to fall off. I have also heard that you can gravity bleed it. Any help would be grateful.

Bleeding the slave is easy, it's the master that can be a pain.

I've had success forcibly stomping on the pedal repeatedly with the bleeder ever so slightly cracked open, however the proper way to do it is to "bench-bleed" the master cyl with it out of the truck. Gravity bleeding won't work due to how it's positioned (yeah, dumb design, I know).
