88.00$ for Motorcraft Spark plug wires??

I called my local Ford dealer today for a price quote on plugs and wires, 10.03 each for the plugs and 88$ for the wires?? This seems a little expensive to me. How much are the Jacob wires and how do I order them, I went to their website, but did not see where I could purchase direct from their site? Thanks in advance

Auto Zone / Pep boys have lifetime guarantee spark plug wires that will do everything the $80. wires will.
Even if they dont you nor your X will notice the difference.

the jacobs wires probably cost around what those stock wires will, if not a little more...... but i agree, just get the $30 wires at your local autoparts store..... the jacobs wires arent worth the extra $ if you dont also upgrade the ignition module....

Thanks for the link, 33.62! The part says "cable set", I assume these are the spark plug cables? Is this the same set you would get from the dealer? If they are, why the huge price difference? I need to find spark plugs on the same site...

Yes, they are Motorcraft parts just like the dealer. You can buy Motorcraft plugs at Autozone for about $4/each

You are not going to get a lifetime guarantee from Ford. I have already gotten a second set of wires for my X from Auto-Zone. No questions asked...Just told them that one wire showed very high resistance and one seemed broken. Showed them the reciept and got the new ones. Now I'm running on free wires.
