I did the passenger side a year or so back. Unclipped the axle boot and slid the axle out. On the drivers side; After the Spindle is off, does that axle just slide out like on all the other straight axle dana's?

There's no "C" clip in teh ham that has to come off or anything , is there?

I'm just not that familiar with this ****a mamy front axle.

Yes, on a straight axle Dana, the axle shaft slides out after the spindle has been removed. There is no C-clip on the front straight axle Dana as the design is a full-floater.

The only C-clip used on the D35 TTB is to hold the passenger side stub shaft in the differential. The driver's side axleshaft should slide right out.

Great. I thought I'd ask because the Passenger side threw me off having to open up the boot to separate mid axle.
Drivers side should be very straight forward.

Yup... Just slide the axle right out.

BTW, you can eliminate the C-clip on the passenger side with an easy modification. All that is needed is a spring inside the slip joint to hold steady pressure on the axle shaft in both directions. (You DO have to tack weld the metal cap over the splines to hold the spring in place!)

I did this modification on my 92 several years ago, and I push it hard. No problems, even with big axle movement!
