The ting sound, sounds like someone tinging a key off a bell. Happens when I shut the truck off. It is the last sound I hear when the engine stops. I also have recently replaced injectors b-4 this started.
No heat. I replaced the thermostat and radiator. The blower is fine, but it does'nt blow heat. Floors are dry. Temp fluctuates. Overflow puke tank (area) seems to make a gargling sometimes, after I shut it down. This is the second 'stat I've put in (new radiator) so I know it was not put in backwards. I live in Massachussetts. I'm getting cold. Someone please help!

I suspect your heating problem is a clogged heater core. You can try back flushing it while it's in the truck. If that doesn't work, pull it out and flush it upside down, or replace it (only about $20). It only takes about 20 min to pull it out.

The gurgling and puking sounds like it could be a blown head gasket. You can try putting a new rad cap on, or do a leak test on the head gaskets. Good luck..

How would I backflush the heater core on the truck?

Any chance the gurgling could be the water pump? or air in the system?

91 navajo almost same issue.

got a 91 navajo same issue without the gurgling, I did have the gurgle in the overflow with brownish green fluid with the previous engine and yes it was a cracked head. Now I have a new engine and still no heat. I changed the radiator, water pump and therm. with the new engine and still no heat.. Going to get a new heater core this week and giver er' a shot with a complete flush before I crank it over. I'll let ya know if this works or not, winters coming quick...
