I did a motor swap I'm my 97 5.0 explorer because the motor was tired so put the new motor in and everything has been done until just right this very moment I was driving and the car was giving me no trouble what so ever and the car stummbled then just quit and I checked all the spark plug connections and the cool connections and the fuel pressure and the car starts but it barely runs has anybody had this problem and any possible insight to what the problem may be and what I should check in literally stuck on the side of the road and were down to only this car because my truck just broke down the other day pleasa any information would be greatly appreciated

If it starts and barely runs I'd be thinking a fuel problem. Maybe the filter is shot and not flowing enough volume?

When you say barely running could you elaborate? Maybe a bad mass air sensor and it's running too rich?

Have you tried scanning for codes?
