Hi---Iwas trying to hook in a trailer light harness this weekend but couldn't figure it out. The same day I lost all volume in the stereo. I think it is coincidence----but how do I find the problem? Can I test the head unit for output somehow? Everything going at once====need to beat on the starter to get it to turn over.

You might want to check the radio fuse under the drivers side dash. I blew mine a few times messing with wiring.(gee that dosn't sound good )
