can I suggest getting your rear leaf springs re hardened. It worked on my 86 BII about 8 years ago.

You can simply purchase a leaf pack. If you can't find one at a dealer, a junkyard may have. And there are many shops that can either re-bend your leafs or build a brand new leaf pack for you.

For about 45 dollars you can buy the little helper spring deal. They sit on top of your existing leaf packs. 2 U-bolts per side and 4 nuts perside. Total install time about 15 minutes., and will stiffen up the ride and reduce sag. But, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't want to to gobs of wheeling with them on. If you off-road a lot new springs or a re-arch are in order.
