92 Explorer Vibration and tire wear questions

My 92 Explorer has developed a bad vibration over 65mph. The tires are also cupping, which makes me think it needs shocks so I pulled the old ones(still looked good) and they work perfect. I did a shakedown on the front end and dint see or feel any loose suspension components. Also, its all stock, with Big O A/T's. Any ideas?
