Thanks in advance. I picked this nice 92 Navajo up cheap last fall after reading about some cars just needing a modulator to fix Auto tranny problem. Well I changed it thru the floor panel like I read here and awesome! it worked. I drove it around a few miles and then headed home 15 miles away. Opps it started slipping and I got a buddy to tow me home. The next day it moved so I thought that I would change the filter and fluid. I remember reading that you could disconnect the tranny oil cooler and use one line to drain and the other to put new fluid in at the same time.
I waited til now to try because it was really cold this winter. I disconnected the rubber lines and put each one in a jug to see which one was the return and which was the incoming. A small amount filled the one jug but after the truck ran for 30 minutes nothing else came out. I know it is a hail mary but any suggestions. It drove so nice after the modulator was changed. Should I change the filter first and try again. The tranny was slightly over full when I started. :navajo:
