93 body on 96 frame??? will it work???

Just wondering if anybody knows if the body mounts are the same on the 96x frame as on the 93x frame? Am wanting to put my 93 body over onto a 96 frame i have instead of switching rear-end and all to the 93. thought it might be a little easier to just switch bodies around....... Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

It's going to be a LOT easier to switch the rear end! Let me reiterate, a LOT easier!!!!

i no right!!!!! i like the front end setup on the 96. and it has 3.73 gears with l/s. my 93 has the ttb with 3.23 non l/s. i dont know which way to go....... also if i just switch the rear end i will have to change the gears out in the front end to match. so either way its gonna be a job!!!! :scratch:

Just swap rear axles and get a 3.73 ttb front diff to swap in. They are all over junkyards, heck I have one but shipping is going to cost a bit.
