93 keyless entry???

I just bought a 1993 Eddie Bauer. It is absolutely loaded with everything but a factory sunroof. It came with just a plain Ford key. Is it supposed to have a key FOB with the buttons on it to unlock the doors and if so, where could I get one? When I took the drivers side door panel off it looked like there was a little black box hooked up to the wiring harness that goes to the window and lock controls that looked like a receiver.

I didn't think they came with keyless entry in 93. I thought that it started in 95. I know my 93 eddie bauer didn't come with it, and its loaded. I had one installed for 150 bucks.

Neh, Ford had this option starting in '93, I believe autodimming/autolamp mirror also. You can find remotes on ebay. Remember to get one that is for '93-'97 models.

there was no factory keyless option in 93 (ford only offered a CODEALARM dealer install option) - factory keyless was not available till late model 94

My 91 Eddie Bauer has something under the dash that is a factory alarm, and i think Keyless entry. I was looking at it when installing my remote starter, and it had a BUNCH of wires going into it, and a little box over the gas pedal that looked like a wireless reciver. Are you sure no keyless entry in 91? because it has wires going into drivers side door. Also, i need a key fob, so im gonna go check on EBAY.
