94 4.0 rebuild Q

Rebuilding my wifes 4.0. The pistons the shop got are the new deep dish type. The originals are the small dish type. My heads are the big chamber, big port (versus the later tiny chamber, tiny port) Is this a problem? am I going to suffer greatly in the HP dept?

There won't be a major loss in power, but there will be some. I'd see if they can't get you the correct pistons.
