94 A4ld 2wd in 92?

Will a A4LD from a '94 2wd just bolt in my '92 2wd 4.0 XLT? Isn't there something about a vacuum shift vs. electric? Adaptable? Thanks guys....

You shouldn't have any problems at all. The '94 will have the upgraded parts as a bonus, too. The A4LD from any 1st gen ex is interchangeable as far as I know. BrooklynBay or Glacier991 will be able to tell you for sure, though.

Where the A4LD is concerned, the vacuum controlled 3-4 shift was only used in the early A4LD's ('85 to '87). So your concern isn't applicable since you are using '94 and '92 A4LD's.
