Hey,
all of this is for a 94' EB X, with JBL system (it has the sub).
my friend wants to swap out the factory cd player cause it's broken. he has a Pioneer Cd player (DIN style) from another car that he wants to use. then he wants to swap out the factory door speakers for some pioneer 6x8's. the sub is blown right now, but he'll be swapping that out later by adding an aftermarket amp and sub/box.
so my questions right now are:
1)how to get the dash off?
2)what's the wiring like for the stock system?
3)how am i going to wire the new cd player in and by-pass the factory amp(s) and go straight to the new speakers?
4)where are the amps at?
5)am i going to need new speaker wiring?
6)am i going to have any problems that i haven't forseen? please tell me now before it's mid-night and i've got the dash apart and then run into a problem.
i read the main info thread at the top of the page, and i understood the part about getting the door panels off, but the rest was a bit confusing.

PS: is it possible o build a sub box to fit under the back seat big enough to house a 10" sub? will it sound ok under the seat?
