Maybe someone else had better luck with this than I do. I am a mechanic of 20+ years and have NUMEROUS connections in getting parts that I need. I have never come across this before. 1994 Explorer "y" pipe. Ford discontinued it. Walker discontinued it. Dynomax and magnaflow discontinued it. Ebay shows a user that posted his company (Mac Auto Parts) having 100 in stock. but, when I called, he said that they do not have it. Factory backorder. NO junkyards have it around here. No mom and pop shop can bend me one without specs. This pipe is IMPOSSIBLE to find. Does anybody know where to get this pipe at? I don't care if you know somebody in Tahiti, Chine, Japan, Mexico, Russia, WHEREVER... I will buy it. Since I could not find it, I thought that i would run true duals on it. I found that to be impossible due to transfer care, brake lines, spare tire, cross members, floor boards, etc etc etc. Someone, please help me here. I need this pipe badly.

i thought i saw one on autozone's website when i was looking at stuff. you should just check those places

...been there, done that..... everyone claims that they have them on the websites, but when you go to order it online, you get an email saying that its "no longer in production. When you go to buy it in the store, they say that its not available. Pep Boys, Auto Zone, Advance auto, Napa, Papa, Triangle, Western Auto, Meineke, etc etc etc.

why dont you remove yours and have an exhuast shop duplicate it?

a competant exhause shop can bed somehting on the car if you dont have one if you leave them the vehicle to test fit

Forgot to put in the first post...My old y pipe rusted into 5 pieces... So, noone can bend me one

If you buy an aftermarket set of headers, you will get a new one.

You're probably going to have to leave the truck and have them make you one. It's going to cost and be a little time consuming, but any decent muffler shop, can do this. They should be able to run duals OR re-create the Y-pipe. You don't really have ground clearance issues. If they say they can't, tell to give it their best shot. Might get it cheap!:D

Did your old Y-pipe have one O2 sensor or two?? asking this i might have one laying around here

Im not sure what your Y-pipe looks like but i had to get a Y-pipe for my flowmaster exhaust to work. its about 14 inches long. The guys at flowmaster hooked me up with this guy in florida. call there tech line and see if they can help

I agree a decent exhaust shop should have no problems bending one up. It may take them a little longer, but they should be capable of doing so.

If you still can't find it, and cybergasm doesn't have one lying around I can make a run to the local yards and see what they want for one. Here in southern Az things don't rust so it shouldn't be hard to remove it.

Just let me know if you want me to check..

I bet shipping from AZ all they way to MD would be more than the price of the part...

I thought about that too. There was one on the ground at a self service yard here in Phoenix that I was at on Wednesday. Any bone yard should have piles of them.

I get great shipping deals through work..

I got a pair of mufflers off a 2006 mustang shipped priority overnight (big heavy box) and it was < $50 on our account. That was from northern NY state.. I'm sure 3 day express saver would be much cheaper. If need be, I could even cut down the y pipe on the cross over section to get it into a smaller box. That way you could put a coupler over it and make it easier to pull a transmission or engine since the exhaust could move more once the center coupler was pulled.

If he's not able to find it anywhere, paying for shipping of a non rusted one is better than not having one.

Hey Mark. Well, if you dont mind running around the bone yard for me, that would be great. I have 2 explorers (both 94) and I know that I am going to need another one as it is. My other one is pretty much shot. It's been sitting for a good long while out in yard and collected quite a bit of rust underneath. I am not worried about cost. I will pay you for your time, for the part, and for shipping. It will still be cheaper than buying the pipe all together, since, well, its not available anywhere. lol. Thanks a lot Mark.
